Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Elthio (elthio.health) or the Elthio Android app. By using Elthio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What Elthio Is
Elthio is a free educational tool that provides general information about supplement and medication interactions based on publicly available data from the NIH, FDA, and peer-reviewed research.
Elthio is NOT a medical device, a licensed medical service, a substitute for professional medical advice, or a pharmacy or prescribing service.
2. Not Medical Advice
The information provided by Elthio is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any decisions about your medications or supplements. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read on Elthio. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.
3. Accuracy of Information
Elthio uses data from NIH ODS, NCCIH, FDA FAERS, and other public sources. The interaction rules and AI-generated explanations have not been reviewed by a licensed pharmacist or physician. They are intended as a general reference only.
4. AI-Generated Content
Some explanations are generated by artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic). AI-generated content can contain errors. Always verify with a qualified healthcare professional before acting on it.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elthio and its creator shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or reliance on the service. Your use of Elthio is entirely at your own risk.
6. Your Data
We collect:
- Email address (only if you save your stack)
- Medications and supplements you enter
- Usage data
- Feedback you submit
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Shared stack links never include your email publicly.
7. Affiliate Links
Elthio's price comparison feature includes affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, Elthio may earn a small commission at no cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence safety rankings or interaction results.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The Last updated date will reflect changes.
